DAVID JAYNE, owner & operator of Coastal Marine grew up on the St. Lucie River spending his time boating, fishing and water skiing every spare moment he had.   

      Coastal Marine was started by Fred and Pat Jayne in 1980. The two transplanted from Wilton CT.  Early on, Fred and Pat put their expertise and personal interest into boating, having numerous boat lines and servicing Yamaha, Johnson/Evinrude, & Suzuki outboards. Their son, David was on board at the age of 12, working every day after school and weekends training with the areas best outboard technicians. In 1985, at the age of 18, David established himself as superior machinist and mechanic. Boat racing became his passion, winning several American Power Boat Assoc. National Championships.  1986 David began his formal outboard training and in just a few years, achieved Master Technician status for Yamaha, Johnson & Evinrude.  

      In 2006, Pat & Fred retired, turning the reigns of Coastal Marine over to David.  Since then, David and his staff continue to keep their certifications and factory training current.  David's wife Kip and their valued employees work together providing exceptional service and  customer satisfaction.  In their down time, David and Kip enjoy spending time with their family at Lacrosse tournaments and spending time on the water.
